Policies on Feedback

eChinabid policy prohibits the following feedback policy violations:

  • Shill feedback - Using secondary eChinabid User IDs or other eChinabid members to artificially raise the level of your own feedback. Please review our shill feedback policy for more information.
  • Feedback extortion - Demanding any action of a fellow user that he or she is not required to do, at the threat of leaving negative feedback ("even though it didn't reach reserve, sell it to me for my bid or...").
  • Feedback solicitation - Offering to sell feedback, trade feedback undeservedly, or buy feedback.
  • Feedback Abuse:
    • Leaving contact information in a feedback comment
    • Using profanity or other offensive language in a feedback comment
    • Placing a URL (web address) in a feedback comment
    • Using eChinabid User IDs or other eChinabid members to leave several negative comments for another user (called feedback bombing or shill feedback, offensive).
    • Leaving feedback that makes any reference to an eChinabid or law enforcement organization investigation, i.e., "eChinabid is investigating this person".
    • Leaving feedback that, on its face, has absolutely no connection with eChinabid, such as feedback related to commercial transactions that were not conducted through eChinabid.

Please review our feedback removal policy for a list of circumstances where eChinabid will consider removing feedback.
