You have the option to make your member profile private (only you can see it) or public . eChinabid extends this option to members in part because we don't edit or alter feedback once it has been left. Comments are only eligible for removal per our Feedback Removal Policy .
eChinabid strongly encourages you to keep your member profile public. In other words, everyone should be able to view the feedback other eChinabid users have left about you. A private profile means that others can't view your feedback.
Your member profile is a valuable asset on eChinabid. Making your member profile public generates trust and increases the likelihood that other eChinabid members will do business with you. After all, you'd probably want to see another user's member profile before you bought from them.
On the other hand, if you make your member profile private, it means that only you can view your feedback. By making your member profile private, you may be decreasing other eChinabid participants' desire to conduct business with you. If you make your member profile private, other members will still be able to see the number of positive, neutral and negative comments on your account. Only the text of the comments will be private.
