How long should your listing last?

When you list your item, you'll have a choice between a 1-, 3-, 5-, 7-, or 10-day duration. There is a $0.02 charge for running a 10-day listing. All other durations are not subject to this additional charge.

Some things to consider when choosing your duration:

• Many buyers watch items for a while and think about them before placing a bid or using Buy It Now, so a longer duration may be to your advantage.
• Is your item related to a certain event? For example, if the item is a gift for a holiday or tickets for an event on a certain date (for example, a concert), make sure the listing ends in time to ship to the buyer before the holiday or event takes place.
